This position will foster trusting and collaborative relationships with leaders and employees.  Work will revolve around resolving issues and presenting solutions in regards to employee performance, grievances.  Will work closely with the Employee Service Center to research issues and will recommend solutions to the HRBPs and Leaders.  Will also participate in initiatives around employee engagement, employee retention, coaching and mentoring leaders, and other human capital issues.  The HR/Employee Relations Consultant will ensure that organizational past practice, labor agreements, policies and applicable laws are upheld.  
5-9 years HR generalist, and employee relations experience, including conducting of complex investigations. Experience with union contracts a plus.
PHR,SPHR or equivalent a plus
Experience navigating FMLA, ADA, and Unemployment and Title VII issues
Proficiency in a broad range of HR functions
Demonstrated problem solving and negotiating skills
Strong critical thinking skills
Demonstrated ability to exercise high degree of judgement, confidentiality
