Work on a global Total Rewards team at our excellent client!  This position initially will work on projects such as Merit Pay and Variable Comp for the client's year end.  Will also be responsible to assist in the planning, design, development, governance, implementation of new compensation programs using market trend analysis.

This is initially a consulting role for the above projects with a 5-6 month duration, but could potentially be hired to direct to the team to be in a role that does the following:
1. Serve as consultant to HR generalists, management and employees on compensation related issues. Advise and makes recommendations HR generalists regarding compensation plans and issues.
2. Assist in the design and development of compensation philosophy, objectives, and guiding principles that support the organization strategy. Collaborate with global HR team to understand business issues in the development of key objectives and philosophy of compensation programs 
3. Design, develop, implement and administer various compensation programs including base, short-term incentive, bonus and equity programs. Collaborate with local HR to oversee implementation and communication. 
4. Design and implement processes for the development of job descriptions and manage the process. Evaluate positions using established market evaluation system for placement into appropriate compensation system. Coordinate survey participation with local HR to develop local implementation plans. Create and/or maintain salary structures as needed. Conduct market research, prepares evaluation and recommendation. 
5. Monitor legislative and legal actions that may impact compensation plans. Keeps current on new trends and developments in compensation. Responsible for knowing local laws relating to employee compensation programs and periodically reviews compensation policies/plans for conformance. Recommend changes to existing compensation programs/policies and may provide leadership in conducting change.
6. Manage and perform total rewards market analysis including competitive market position for current plans including budget recommendations. Develop modeling templates for various compensation analyses.
7. Assist in the annual compensation cycle including analysis to ensure that salaries remain competitive within guidelines, as well as assisting with the merit review process. 
8. Assist in coordinating local registration of equity programs to ensure compliance with local requirements.
9. Lead compensation training initiatives on all compensation topics. 
10. Manage select compensation programs: expatriate, equity, executive.
11. Develop and lead reporting analysis for CEO Pay Ratio based on SEC rules, working with outside Consultant Willis Towers Watson to ensure organization is compliant.
12. Participate in cross-functional teams on a variety of HR projects.

• Strong consulting and verbal/written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or Business Administration. 
• Eight years’ relevant professional experience in compensation development, design and administration (with minimum 3 years specific experience in international compensation) 
• Able to work under minimum supervision
• PC expertise and proven problem solving skills. Working knowledge of all MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience working with HRIS/ERP systems 
• Proven analytical abilities.
• Collaboration skills, both inside and outside of HR

• Some travel may be required
• Regular conference calls in evenings and/or mornings may be required with global HR team

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Mercer or PayScale Systems a plus. Global experience a plus but not required.
