Our home health care client is seeking a business-savvy, HR team member to fill an immediate opening for a combined role as a HR business partner and a benefits manager. This person will report directly to the HR Director and will manage the full benefits program from broker relationship development to coordinating annual enrollments, and 401(k) plan compliance and administration. The work is both independent and collaborative in nature. The corporate team is young-at-heart, super smart, and mission driven.  Come join our team!

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Implement HR policies and practices that support an inclusive, caring, and accountable organizational culture.
  • Administer employee benefit program including group health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits
  • Manage and lead annual benefits enrollment processes including ACA eligibility determination and employee communications
  • Recommend new approaches to affect continual improvements in the value of HR services
  • Oversee FMLA and LOA approvals
  • Develop and manage relationships with brokers and external benefit partners
  • Administer benefit vendor premium payments and reconciliations
  • Assist HR Director with benefit strategies, renewal processes, and other HR-related projects and initiatives
  • Prepare, schedule, and facilitate employee meetings to present benefit programs and other HR-related programs
  • Ensure benefit plan and HR compliance with state, local and federal regulations
  • Coordinate required annual 5500 documents

Qualifications
  • Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • Three to five years’ experience in Benefits Administration including design and execution
  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, preferred but not required
  • Excellent working knowledge of ACA, benefit compliance and regulations
  • Self-starter with minimal need for supervision
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to be adaptable and consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced changing work environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Home health care experience is a plus
Hours Per Week:  40
Salary:  $58 - $65K depending on experience
